ExploreRecommendations"On Thurs 12th July , as a member of Kildare Youth Council (Comhairle na nÓg) I went to the CP Adventure located at Russborough House in County Wicklow. We were there from about 11.00 until 15.00 and our activities were Archery, the Climbing Tower and Kayaking.
As a group, we were all slightly sceptical heading to Russborough as the Adventure Centre was not something we had heard about before and we weren’t sure how good it was going to be. However, when we arrived, the staff in charge of us, Dave and Paul, changed our minds completely. Dave and Paul were absolutely phenomenal throughout the day and made it an enjoyable experience for all of us. They encouraged us to get involved and try new things but didn’t force anyone to do an activity they didn’t want to and made sure they still felt included. Their kindness, inclusiveness, humour and helpfulness made the day enjoyable for everyone. Not only were the nice people with a good sense of humour, they also were very clear in the instructions, never raised their voices and showed the upmost respect for us.
They engaged us in conversation and appeared interested in what we had to say. People in our group that I know aren’t particularly outdoorsy got involved and enjoyed the whole day, if they didn’t get involved the staff still made it enjoyable for them!
I was hugely impressed with their enthusiasm and I hope this message gets to them.

Due to the excellent staff and facilities, I will be sure to recommend this to my school as a potential trip to organise next year and to anyone considering where to go for an outdoor adventure experience.
