Job Summary

Manager for NEW purpose built Outdoor Activity Centre – Seasonal Work

Responsible for: Seasonal Outdoor Instructors + Ensuring Customer safety & satisfaction

Manager will devise, plan and prepare activity content to meet customers needs.
Planing activities, rota’s and ensuring positive effective communication with the other Outdoor Instructors.
Overseeing Seasonal Outdoor Instructors (including ensuring all kit and equipment is available for all activities)
Responsible for ensuring an excellent standard of service to customers at all times. Providing briefings explaining and demonstrating activity content as appropriate and Health & Safety.

Job Type / Category

CP Adventure deal with a wide variety of customers such as corporate groups, touring groups, school tours, summer camps, families & individual drop in’s.

They provide a range of outdoor activities consisting of both Land & Water options such as kayaking, sailing, canoe (Large), segway, archery, clay pigeon shooting, climbing tower, ropes course, zipline, bike rental, bushcraft, bike tours and walking tours..

Hours will generally be a 40 hour week but can sometimes stretch to 48 (including weekend work and some overnights for camps).

Work is seasonal generally from April to September with the added possibility of working outside these months.

Manager will be working between 2/3 locations in the Wicklow Area

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• SPA or ERCA.
• Qualifications in variety of outdoor activities including at least one water instructorship.
• Up to date First Aid qualification.
• Garda Vetted.
• Previous management role/experience
• Powerboat Cert (Level2)

Desirable:

• 3rd level degree in Outdoor Recreation
